Indian Misslies - Hit or miss.

Recently there were news that Manmohan singh invited all party meeting in wake for Mumbai attack. And one of the politician suggested for air Strike? I am not judging the suggestion but my concern is - Why did the idea of Air strike which is always has some risk? Don't we have missiles? Do our missiles really work and ready to use?

ISRO is most admirable organization in India and which some how kept itself away from out bad and corrupt system and that bloody red tape. BUt on other hand DRDO which is responsible to develop production ready rockets is equally notorious for being completely opposite to ISRO's culture.

So the question is - are our missiles battle ready which can be used at any time. I don't think we can answer this question as 'Yes'. We have not used it anywhere outside of out test environment. And Mumbai is the right cause to try that which woul;d have served many purpose.
1) Might have destroyed few terrorist camps and infra structure - that would have damage their striking ability at least for few percentage.
2) They would have came out from the impression that they are completely in safe haven and no one can touch them in their home.
3) Event Pakistan which always lives in denial - must have got a strong signal that if it occurs again then next missile could hit to Islamabad.
4) Same (point 3) is true for Bangladesh which is not coming in news much but i think is equally responsible.
5) It would have test our missiles in real time situation without going into war. It would have provided some confidence to troops who are trained in using this technology and some confidence to scientists who are developing these.

But looking at current scenario - it seems this question will stay open. And India will cry for a while and will continue with it's life.... what misfortune it has.

Longterm solution for India's internal security.

I think we should create an institution called IIIS (Indian Institute of Intelligence and Security) which should be very similar to what we have as IITs or IIMs. This institute will glamorize security services in our youth and will cover most aspect of security issues like:

1) Cyber Crime - This is what is going to be biggest challenge of future and we have to get the expertise now. How many good hacker we have who can intercept internet communication? How many cyber expert we have who can secure our electronic data? This department will provide the answer to these open questions.

2) Urban warfare - This will trained people what we have in NSg but more organized and more equipped with new technology and tactics.

3)Mid range combat - This will train people to handle physical fight and take control of situation.

4) VIP security : Special VIP unit cell which can be used for PM etc.

5) Special event security - These people can specialize in securing events like rely or a cricket match etc.

The advantages of this institute will be:
1) An awareness in youth to take up security career.
2) Very well structured security framework which will prepare our country for future challenges like cyber and space crime or terrorists.
3) Help our economy by training people from friendly nations.

Terror in Mumbai - now what Indians wants.

I urge to all Indians to list down their demand or wish list for our governent and people, in wake of this terror attack.

What I want to see :

1) resignation from RAW, IB, CID, CBI and from Mumbai police cheif.
2) regisnation from home minister and his scretory along with national security adviser and cheif of internal security.
3) Also a missile strike to any known terror camp in Pakistan and Bangladesh. These struck should be irrespective of any direct. Conection to current Mumbai attack.

And mr. Singh - get some firmness in ur voice and show ur strong side to the country.

Please list down ur demands. Stand united and say loud.

Jai hind!
